Emma is a self-taught watercolor artist known for capturing the subtle beauty of nature in her intricate, vibrant botanical illustrations.
Her journey into watercolor began in 2021 in the remote town of Tom Price, Western Australia, with a set of paints gifted by her husband, sparking an unexpected passion for the medium. It was in watercolor that she found her true voice, a medium that let her highlight the unique textures and striking details of plants and flowers that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Emma’s signature technique—using minimal water to capture crisp details and intense colors—has become central to her style, which evokes the timeless elegance of traditional botanical illustration with a modern, accessible touch. Her art draws inspiration from her surroundings, whether it is the rugged landscapes of the Australian Outback, the lush beauty of Colorado’s mountain wildflowers, or the calming coastal scenery of her current home in California. Through her work, Emma invites viewers to slow down, find peace, and connect with nature in a new way.

In December 2024, Emma’s work was featured in British Vogue Magazine, with additional features in the January 2025 and February 2025 issues, marking an exciting milestone in her career.

Her art has garnered appreciation from an international audience of collectors and nature enthusiasts, each piece celebrating the resilience and elegance of the natural world, inviting a moment of reflection and calm in today’s fast-paced world.
