The Annapolis Watercolor Club was founded in 1975 by a small group of artists under the leadership of Joanne Scott as a non-profit educational organization. In 1997, the Annapolis Watercolor Club devoted itself exclusively to the practice, education, and promotion of watercolor as an art medium.
Membership is open to anyone interested in watercolors. Many AWC participants show their work and win awards throughout this region and are recognized nationally.
at 7:30 pm. in Room 205, except for Christmas Party and Spring Fling, these events will be held in room 308. We do not have meetings in the month of July and August. The meeting lasts until 9 pm and usually includes a one hour painting demonstration by a well-known artist. Meetings and Demonstrations are free to members while the visitor's fee is $5.
